WHO WE ARE

Romeo's is an Italian restaurant next to the Mariinsky Theatre. Every day we delight our guests with exquisite wines from all over the world, with signature desserts, gourmet house favourites, and the atmosphere of Italy without visas and flights. And in the summer, we also open the patio overlooking the Kryukov Canal. As good as Venice!

Romeo's was the second Zanini Restaurants establishment to open. Large confectionery is the pride of our restaurant. Desserts from it end up not only in the restaurant's own showcase, but also in Little Italy and Arancino restaurants. And soon, Romeo's will share sweets with Mircuccio Osteria.

Like all Zanini Restaurants establishments, Romeo's adheres to true Italian principles:

1. If to cook, it has to be delicious.
2. Style shall be seen in every detail.
3. Say whatever you want, but the day shall start with an espresso and end with a glass of good wine.

Mirco Zanini, owner of Zanini Restaurants, visits Romeo's every day! He freely speaks with patrons and is happy to recommend dishes and wines.

For his contribution to the recognition of Italian style, Mirco was even awarded the Star of Merit for Labour. The ceremony was held here at Romeo's. The Consul General of Italy came here to congratulate and hand Mirco the award on behalf of the President.

ROMEO`S KEY PEOPLE

Romeo's Restaurant, a classic Italian restaurant serving traditional Italian cuisine, is located at the corner of Kryukov Canal and Prospect Rimsky-Korsakov. This is a stone's throw from the world-famous Mariinsky Theatre, the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory, and the picturesque St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral.

The restaurant is famous not only for its warm hospitality but also for its home-style Italian cuisine!

The menu includes sections with salads and traditional appetisers: Caprese, Parmigiana, beef carpaccio; kinds of pasta: tiger prawn linguine, pappardelle with seasonal mushrooms, and, of course, spaghetti carbonara. We cook fish and seafood, as well as meat dishes, main courses.

Romeo's is a light-filled, spacious and atmospheric place. Comfort reigns here, created by simple, beautiful and subtle details: mirrors that refract light from panoramic windows, velvet and wood, a combination of grey and purple tones, – all this makes the interior warm and atmospheric. In the evenings, the restaurant is immersed in the dim reflection of floor lamps and candles, making Romeo's the perfect place for romantic dates.
